The town of Kedarnath Dham is located in Uttarakhand, India's Rudraprayag district. It is well-known for the Kedarnath Temple, which each year draws thousands of pilgrims from all around the world. Of the four Chota Char Dham pilgrimage destinations in India, Kedarnath mandir is one of the most isolated, located around 86 kilometers from the district seat, Rudraprayag. It is situated in the Himalayas, close to the Mandakini River's source, the Chorabari Glacier, at an elevation of roughly 3,583 meters (11,755 feet) above sea level.
