Surrogacy laws in Thailand have changed significantly in recent years. Thailand passed the "Protection of Children Born from Assisted Reproductive Technologies Act," which rigorously controls surrogacy practices. Commercial surrogacy is outlawed by this law, which means surrogates cannot be paid more than their reasonable expenditures.
